The total income for the charitable sector in the 2024/2025 period is estimated at $29.7 billion, with $8.8 billion coming from education, $6.5 billion from health, and other significant contributions from social services and community development. The breakdown of income sources shows that charities rely on diverse funding streams, including service and trading, donations and fundraising, and grants and other funding. 

• Government Grants and Funding: Government grants play a significant role in the sector, with the Ministry of Social Development and other government bodies providing substantial support to a range of projects.
